Lazy me
Ah, back from a 3 days trip to Niagara where everything is expensive~~ LoL! No kidding, went up to Skylon where you can see the falls from about.. 30 floors? I don't know :P But I have some pictures in buzznet. Anyways, it was 41 CAD per person for a buffett. You're wondering why not just order a meal up there? Cause a meal costs more: 40CAD<. Nutz... -.-
The trip was ok, except for a few minor pissing off caused by me to Vlad's aunt and her on me. We don't get along :P She doesn't like me *shrugs* I don't owe her anything. If she doesn't wanna be nice, so will I. I tried. God knows how difficult it is to be around people who are speaking a totally different language than you and you still sticking around for your boyfriend. Call me faithful, but not patient. :P
Anyhoo, I'm cooking now. Fried noodles. I hope it will turn out right. The spicy wings are smelling GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOD! YUM! yes, i'm hungry. I've only eaten noodles today. Not filling at all, and it's 9 pm now... so! EAT! latah~~~
Garage sale
You know what I love about garase sales? They're cheap. That's all. But most of the time, it's called Garbage Sales. Just because they sell books, clothes, and kitchen utensils that look so old you should put them behind the cupboard to be stared at.
I went to this garage sale where they had a basket full of tennis balls. I'm like.. Tiny would want those, but then again, Tiny had found 2 of his own tennis balls in a park. Then, i saw forks and spoons that looked so old.. who would want to buy them and whatever for?? oh well..
But then again, Vlad found a bike for sale - $CAD50. Ain`t too bad for an old bike. Vlad's were stolen twice. Poor guy was so devastated that even till last week he was looking around at other ppl's bikes, looking out for his old one and you can see jealousy all over his face, that they have bikes and his were gone. So, it's all good that he got a bike. He even got himself a bike helmet from another garage sale 2 weeks ago for 2 bucks. That's something, eh?
Oh yes, we got a nice shelf and a mirror, both for 12 bux in total.
We're going to hunt for VCR next, just because the library that we're going to volunteer for has videos for rent, for free, 4 at a time for each member, for a week. Not bad, really.
Talk about library, Tiny shreded Vlad's borrowed mag - CAD8. wow.. did he make a mess and was scolded bad by Vlad. He was hiding the whole time -.- Oh well, no treat for a month, eh :P
Library volunteering
Just came back from a private library. They called us yesterday asking us to come over today for an interview. Vlad will be starting on Monday, in the computer section and I will do that on Saturday for only twice. We will also be mending booka nd shelving on Tuesday and Friday.
I've never volunteered before. Hope it's not gonna be that scary :P It's a library after all. LoL! oh yes, the man who talked to us was Harm - a name. He came from Holland. LoL! I thought I heard wrong when he introduced himself, and i spelled out his name and he said that's right. O... LoL! Harm~ that's new.

Oh yes, in the middle of reading a book by Maeve Haran - Husband Material. It has a sort of dull beginning but it's getting interesting.. I'll just read it in the bathtub later. I don't know why, but reading this sort of non-serious book is fun. I've been borrowing a lot of books from the library, enough for 2 weeks. I'm a slow reader, I take about 4 days to finish a book.
Oh yes. Vlad's uncle and aunt from Romania are going to be coming over by the end of next week. Vlad is very very excited about it (I want to write more 'very', but I'm afraid I have no patience for it right now. LoL!). We're going to be visiting a lot of places with them as they might be here only for 3 weeks.
They'd love to meet Tiny - it's always been their dream to get a Scottish Terrier, but they have no time for a pet. Very busy people.
Oh yes.. Tiny also had a haircut. He looks pretty weird for me and Vlad.. as long as he's not hot all the time, that's cool with me. Ah well, that's about it for now.

Ah, me and Vlad woke up early to a rainy morning to play badminton only to find out that the gym is used for children's summer camp and we can only play at 4 pm until 23rd July. Does that suck or what?? -.-
Not gonna be a good day for Tiny as well.. he can't go out when it's raining. Well, he'd love to, but I don't like it, cause he gets all dirty and wet and.. :S ok, I'm being a terrible owner here. Maybe I'll bring him out later on, just maybe.
Now, I shall proceed back to bed. Babi is a babi after all~ ho ho ho~

I just had to put that Bird in the Fridge down before I ever forget. LoL! Well, new in this blog thingy. Bird in the fridge O.o
I met this woman whose dog named Charlie, who also has 2 cats and 2 birds. But, a few days back, one of the birds got out of the cage and the cat, of course, got it in its mouth. By the time she got to the bird, it's half-dead and the next day, it died.
She told me that she hadn't the time to burry the poor thing. So, she kept it in the fridge. I made a face (who wouldn't? O.o). I'm honest, so I asked, why???? She said that she doesn't want to burry it in her backyard *dead bird in my backyard?? no*. But.. dead bird in the fridge but not the backyard............. ok, so, I asked if she had minded about the bird being in the fridge and she said no because it's a dead meat and she's a vegetarian and there's only chicken in the fridge for her daughter and Charlie. Ok..
So I nodded.. without fully understanding.. about the bird in the fridge......
